Mrs. Henschel's Classroom
Philosophy
My many years of teaching experience have helped me develop a set of beliefs about how can best assist students to learn and grow. I believe that to effectively teach, I must know as much about you as possible. Therefore, I look forward to getting to know you and your family. Each student in my classroom is an individual with their own beliefs, ideas, and feelings. My teaching will be tailored to each student's preferred ways of learning so that they can all achieve to the best of their ability.

About me:
|
I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I graduated from Waupun High School in 1994. I did my undergraduate work at UW Oshkosh, where I played collegiate volleyball. I received my master’s degree in special education from Edgewood College in Madison, WI in 2008. I have been teaching Special Education for the past 18 years.
I am married to my husband, Greg, and have 2 daughters, Eliana(12) and Adilyn(9). We also love spending time with our 4 year old bloodhound mix, Gunner. We moved to the south to escape the cold snowy winters😊 Our family loves spending time on the soccer field and playing games together. We are excited for our new adventure in Charlotte and are looking forward to meeting new friends and making fun new memories. |
